Join us in the historic village of Ferns, County Wexford, for a retreat experience rich in history, connection, and countryside charm for an immersive 5-night retreat. Nestled in Ireland’s southeast, approximately one and a half hours south of Dublin, Ferns offers the perfect blend of peaceful setting and cultural depth. The Old Deanery welcomes you with warmth and historic character, offering a unique blend of heritage and comfort for your stay. Originally built in 1735, this elegant property has been lovingly restored, preserving its rich history while offering modern amenities.
This retreat is for trauma therapists who are ready to move beyond managing burnout and into a more sustainable, embodied way of working. If you’ve been feeling the slow creep of exhaustion or the disconnection that comes from always being the one holding space, this experience is a chance to reset — not just professionally, but personally. Across our time together, you’ll reconnect with your purpose, expand your clinical depth, and return to the body as a source of wisdom. You’ll be immersed in practices and teachings that nourish you while strengthening the heart of your practice, offering a balance of clinical training, personal insight, and nervous system support. This isn’t just professional development — it’s an invitation to feel grounded again.
Key Learnings & Experiences:
How to build clinical resilience and reduce the impact of vicarious trauma
Practical tools for helping clients stabilize and lift from dissociation
An introduction to psychedelic integration in trauma treatment, with ethical considerations

You’ll be surrounded by like-minded clinicians in a space where real conversations happen — the kind that spark new ideas and lasting shifts. With historical accommodations, shared room options, and space for a partner or guest to join you on the journey, you’ll experience a sense of comfort, safety, and belonging throughout. Expect to leave with clear, actionable plans and a renewed sense of purpose — both in your work and in yourself.

FACILITATORS & HOSTS
Facilitators are selected to complement the overall experience and theme of each retreat. We are honoured to feature Kirk Béasse, MC, Registered Psychologist and Tami O’Meara, Registered Clinical Counsellor. Our facilitators are passionate about creating a space where care and energy thrive, helping participants feel both understood and empowered.
Kirk Béasse: Kirk is a seasoned Psychologist based in Victoria, BC, Canada with over 20 years of experience in the mental health field. He specializes in post-traumatic stabilization and brings a grounded, collaborative approach to healing that honors each person’s unique path. His work draws from a rich clinical foundation, including training in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, EMDR Therapy, and Qi Gong (Level I), and is deeply influenced by his interest in consciousness — particularly psychedelic integration, dissociation, and near-death experiences. As a group practice owner and passionate clinician, Kirk blends clinical depth with an organic, eclectic style that supports both resilience and transformation.
Tami O’Meara: Tami is a Registered Clinical Counsellor and Clinical Hypnotherapist with over 25 years of experience supporting personal and professional transformation. With a background in both counselling and motivational speaking, Tami brings a dynamic, engaging presence to her work — blending evidence-based tools with lived experience and humor. Her approach is practical, heart-centered, and designed to leave a lasting impact. A trailblazer both in and out of the therapy room, Tami made history as the first female quarterback on a men’s football team — a story later turned into a Hollywood film, with Helen Hunt portraying her journey. Her unique blend of clinical depth, life experience, and engaging delivery style has inspired audiences ranging from youth and educators to fellow clinicians and community leaders.
